Its all about me!

Happy New Year, and Welcome! 2013 is going to be the Start of something Great for my business! Not only was product lunch and amazing success and we have some AWESOME new products but I was able to take my business completely paperless, which if any of you know me is quite the exciting opportunity for me!  For those of you who don’t know me, I am Jessica, I am a single mom, full time employee in corporate America,  and Pure Romance Consultant! After over a year of working 60+ hours a week and draining my relationship with my boyfriend at the time and my son, my boyfriend and I broke up, my son and I got our own place closer to my family. Well now I didn’t really have anyone to help with him so I needed another way to supplement the income and was frankly just burnt out on working all the overtime. I had actually been calling my consultant to set up a party because it was just time to get together with my girls and have a good time, when she told me she was no longer in business I was almost crushed, I mean I didn’t know anyone else who I could buy my Coochy Cream from!  She told me she’d pass my name to one of her sister consultants and they’d call me to set up! Well a few hours later Liz called me and after telling me she hadn’t yet opened her calendar for when I was looking for I just blurted out “I think I just want to sell it!” After asking my family if they would support me and help me with sitters when I had to do parties I bought my kit, and then I sat there like OH NO WHAT DID I JUST DO! Then is spent a little more money and bought my business cards, and name tags (because that’s just the OCD in me, you know if your going to do something you have to do it right!) When I logged into my Online Office the first time I felt a little overwhelmed, my consultant always told me Id be great for this job but I think I was still in shock that I had finally made the decision to. I started watching all the online training videos when I got home and decided now was not the time to get overwhelmed I needed to set this business off like a rocket. The next day I created my Facebook group, and told EVERYONE I know that I was the Newest Pure Romance consultant. I had my march calendar filled up before I knew it!  I was so nervous for my first party, the girl who was hosting kept warning me that the last party she had only had 3 people show up. I was honestly ok with this I didn’t know how things were going to go and I was already nervous and afraid I was going to forget to do something. Needless to say I arrived got my stuff set up and then people started showing up. By the time it was all said and done she had almost 30 people at her party! After the party I went home and went thru all my orders and was like OMG WHY DIDN’T I START THIS SOONER!
